How is MS treated?
This article will discuss how is MS treated and the alternative options for treating multiple sclerosis. There are many options for treating multiple sclerosis so first let’s talk about what it is. Then we will discuss how is MS treated alternatively.
Multiple sclerosis (or MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another. Today, new treatments and advances in research are giving new hope to people affected by the disease.
The symptoms of multiple sclerosis show up in different ways for different patients and how is MS treated can be many ways.
Most Common Symptoms
Some symptoms of MS are much more common than others.
- Walking (Gait), Balance, & Coordination Problems
- Bladder Dysfunction
- Bowel Dysfunction
- Vision Problems
- Dizziness and Vertigo
- Sexual Dysfunction
- Cognitive Dysfunction
- Emotional Changes
Less Common Symptoms
These symptoms also occur in MS, but much less frequently.
- Speech Disorders
- Swallowing Problems
- Hearing Loss
- Respiration / Breathing Problems
How is MS treated?
How is MS treated? Here is a short list of some of the side effects of these medications.
-it’s typical to experience achiness, fatigue, a low-grade fever, soreness, and chills, which can make you feel like you’ve come down with a mild case of the flu.
One of the things that has always impressed me is that when there is a medication that can cause a side effect that is the same symptom as the reason you are taking the medication. Like taking the med for soreness and it causing soreness. It is strange to say the least.
There are many ways to the top of the mountain and to me it I want to see patients get better and not just mask their symptoms.

The term alternative therapy, in general, is used to describe any medical treatment or intervention that has not been scientifically documented or identified as either safe or effective for a specific condition. Alternative therapy encompasses a variety of disciplines that range from diet and exercise to mental conditioning and lifestyle changes. Examples include acupuncture, yoga, aromatherapy, relaxation, herbal remedies, and massage.
It is exciting to see the mainstream media include alternative therapies as an option. As an Acupuncturist of 16 years I am so happy to see that they are not just POO POOing Acupuncture like was done in the recent past.
Now let’s talk about how is MS treated with alternative medicines.
Here is an update on the video.
How is MS treated with alternative medicines?
There are several ways how is MS treated and it is important that you do the research to see what is best for you. If you have had little to no success with your current treatments then I encourage you to look into some of these alternative medicines.
I think one of the biggest problems that we are faced with today is a nutrition. With things like Monsanto and genetically modified foods, fast foods and processed foods have little to no nutritional value. Even the foods grown today that are not fast foods have little to no nutritional value like they did when our great grandparents were alive.
We’re not getting the nutrition that our bodies need to keep them healthy. That is only one piece of the puzzle. Think about all the chemicals that were exposed to in two days brave new world. Our food alone contains so many toxic chemicals, just in what they call preservatives and additives. http://hundredyearlie.com/ has a survey to see how toxic you might be.
Car exhaust, off gassing from paints and varnish and carpet and things all can create a toxic buildup in the body. We are exposed to so many different new things and chemicals that I think we have to factor that in your daily life now.
One thing people never talk about is the EMF frequencies that we are exposed to with all of our computers and cell phones. I’ve read even read articles that talk about the dangers of having an electric blanket or clock radio in your bedroom. This could be essential in how is MS treated.
How is MS treated? First we have to get rid of the exhaust that we build up. Being exposed to all of these chemicals and even prescription medications that are synthetic can cause a toxic buildup. We must get rid of this toxic buildup so that we can allow the body to do its job.
This toxic buildup is known as Oxidative Stress. When we eat in metabolize food, when we’re exposed to sun, when we exercise and breath and when we are exposed to chemicals we build up Oxidative Stress. How is MS treated, eliminate the oxidative stress.
Oxidative stress is a toxic overload on the body. To eliminate that toxic overload we want antioxidant enzymes in our blood. We can take those enzymes as a supplement. But what we’re now finding out is that we can activate our own DNA to turn on and start making those chemicals.
You see when your body as those survival genes that are activated from your own DNA, it makes much more sense than to keep supplementing supplementing. We now know that antioxidants can only eliminate one particle of exhaust per antioxidant. A 1:1 ratio. Antioxidant enzymes can eliminate one million free radicals per second every second.
There now is a new knowledge that the body can create it’s own antioxidant enzymes with a Nrf2 activation. This activation turns on over 3000 “Survival Gene’s” in your DNA. This is how MS is treated effectively.
Tell me. If your body was ok and then started to get they symptoms of MS, do you think you can get your body back?
I do think by activativating these survival genes you will have a start at getting your body back to normal. Reducing the amount of Oxidative stress that your body has will allow your cells to be able to do their job correctly. Once the body can communicate with itself it know’s what to do.
But when the cells are damaged and they are unable to do their job. Then we start to have problems.
This is where I want to talk about Protandim. It is a major player in How is MS treated. And a an alternative player to how is MS treated.
Protandim was proven scientifically to be able to eliminate Oxidative stress in a major way. In fact American tax dollars were spent to study this blend of 5 herbs.
Protandim activates the Nrf2 pathway and allows the 100 trillion cells in your body to start making antioxidant enzymes that are more powerful than modern synthetic drugs and they don’t have side effects.
How is MS treated?
You should definitely let your doctor help you decide a regiment. But you should also ask them about Oxidative Stress and the link to MS and see what they think about a product that is proven to reduce Oxidative stress.
In fact doctors all over the world are starting to take notice and use this in their practice.
I encourage you to do the research and look into alternative treatments for MS. Being an Acupuncturist I know we can help you their but I think activating your DNA and improving your nutrition are a huge part of your recovery.
