This article will give you some extremely powerful tips on how to effectively close in your Successful Presentation. Whether or not you are selling a product or service or whatever, you need to think about the end result. How will you be able to convert the traffic that you have brought to your Successful Presentation? You want to effectively show your idea and get someone excited to act on that emotion today!
So first off I paid to get this information at a Pro Marketing Summit in Orlando, FL and it was well worth it. I think all of the speaker’s organized by Ray Higdon were exceptional but that Dave VanHoose was very helpful in his presentation.
Here are the gems from that presentation where he mentioned his tips were like a “magician revealing his secrets live”!
So to help create a Successful Presentation you want to create the “yes state”. They can agree with you or not 20% of your prospects will buy 80% of your business.
- Small commitments = big commitments. Start small and easy and ease into it with your questions.
- Choose your words so that they will create a yes response and interact with the crowd. Get them to say yes and raise their hand in participation.
- EVERY 7 MINUTES GET THEM TO SAY YES! Or “You’re going to want to write this down.” “Can I share a story with you”
- Get people to stand up. –Is there anyone in the room who wants to change their life right now? “Then stand up now!”
- Use verbiage that will include things like, “repeat after me”
With the goal being conversions you have to keep in mind what the goal of your presentation is.
“The LESS YOU TEACH, THE MORE YOU SELL!”
Sell and romanticize your opportunity like no other. People love stories so sell through stories.
The Stage is the worst place to speak!!! Tell your story off of the stage and interact with the crowd.
To give a dynamic exciting presentation you want to walk through the crowd and touch people. The more you touch people, the more you will sell. Did you read that!! Again the more you touch people the more you will sell!
When an expert speaks, people listen. You need to become the expert. One simple way to do this from a speaking position, is as follows. When speaking about an expert point to a spot somewhere and as you continue speaking soon step into that spot. You have just made yourself the expert on a subliminal level.
You can also you the “rolling effect” using the way that you speak to match the way people are breathing. This can hypnotically allow them to connect with you on a level they were not even aware of.
The power of the pause. To be successful in your presentation you can learn to pause. Perhaps ask a question and wait, pause and let the person dream on what you are speaking about.
The people you are presenting to will have Objections. The best way to overcome Objections is through telling more stories, asking questions, pausing and keeping them saying yes every 7 minutes!
